Weather Forecast for Kent - Monday 28th April 14. TODAY: Once early morning local mist and fog patches does clear away, therell be a fair bit of cloud about but most of us should at least get to see the occasional bright spells anyway, especially in the afternoon. Although it is likely to stay dry for most of the time I cannot rule out an odd shower popping up somewhere over East Kent by the middle part of the day. So, if your line washing does get interrupted by one of those then consider yourself to be very unlucky. Temperatures sticking close to average as it ranges from 12 C (54 F) over East-facing Coastal areas to up to 16 C (61 F) over North and West Kent if it does stay bright for long enough. Pollen count is likely to be higher than yesterday in the afternoon as our winds become light and variable in direction. All in all, an uneventful start to the week. TONIGHT: Quite cloudy for most of the night and there is a small risk of a shower in the small hours. Fog may tend to shroud hill tops and prone low lying areas thus making for a murky end to the night for some of us. Not a too cold night at 8 C (46 F) over West Kent to 11 C (52 F) East Kent as our winds become a light north east breeze. TOMORROW: I should imagine well wake up to a rather murky start to the day, thatll then lead to a rather cloudy day with a risk of showery rain. The best chance of seeing any bright spells are likely in the late afternoon or early evening. Temperatures staying close to average values at 13 C to 16 C (55 F to 61 F) under calm winds. REST OF WEEK and WEEKEND: Little change expected on Wednesday and into Thursday with rather cloudy skies and limited bright spells along with a risk of showers breaking out. But hopefully itll start to become drier and brighter as we go into Friday and more especially the weekend . . . provided we dont get too much in the way of haar/fret rolling in from the North Sea under a freshening north east wind. If it does actually stay clear for long enough then there is a risk of night frost returning to West Kent.
