Weather Report from Jonesborough... It was COLD when I went down to make coffee this morning. I stepped out the door here at the Tellers Cottage and sure enough there was ice on the car. No sign of the dashing Young Mr. Fall even though I could see his art work all around. I took a step or two toward the sidewalk and back toward town, I saw a familiar form heading my way. The Old Man with his dusty suit was almost skipping up the sidewalk. He waved and I waved back but I didnt wait to chat with him. Its too soon, my heart said. The last time I was a TIR here, Jim was with me. I guess this is one of the last places Ill be saying that about. You know, sometimes letting him go is still so hard. Slowly but surely, newer memories are being made. Thats a good thing, I reckon. Jim loved the fall... I reckon Ill just hold on to that for a bit this morning.... Good morning my dearest dears.
