Weather Situation A monsoon trough extends through the Gulf of Carpentaria into Cape York Peninsula and across the northern Coral Sea to a developing tropical low in the Coral Sea. The tropical low is expected to deepen over the next couple of days and move westwards towards the Queensland coast. Forecasts are highly dependent on the development and movement of this system. A high over the Tasman Sea extends a firm ridge along the east Queensland coast to the south of the monsoon trough. **North Tropical Coast and Tablelands -Cloudy.
