Weather update from John: Remaining rather dull, damp, mild and breezy, however, conditions are expected to brighten from the west with some sunshine breaking through especially well away from the south coast; there also remains a slight risk of catching an afternoon shower, mainly over the moors for a time. Winds: moderate or fresh locally strong in the west south to southwesterly; maximum temperature 18C. Conditions will be largely cloudy to overcast overnight with significant amounts of low cloud with hill mist and fog and a little light patchy drizzle in places at times. Winds: moderate or fresh southwesterly; minimum temperature very mild at 15C. Tomorrow: It will be drier brighter day with more in the way of brightness and spells of sunshine breaking through especially during the afternoon. Winds moderate locally fresh in the west, west to southwesterly; maximum temperature 17C.
