Wednesday, May 7: 6:30, Vespers: The Heartbeat (drumming and other percussion instruments). If you have hand drums, bring them! Some drums and instruments available. 7:00, Book Club The book chosen for May is The Rooftops of Tehran, written by Mahbod Seraji. Pasha and his best friend, Ahmed, spend their seventeenth summer exploring life, and love, and the unfairness of Iran’s totalitarian regime of 1973. Serjai tells a fascinating story of an Iran that is usually hidden from our view. The centuries-old Persian culture is a small but fascinating part of this book. We come to understand why the author’s dream of a free Iran remains strong. Please plan to join us on Wednesday, May 7, right after Vespers with Reverend Michelle. We will meet in the fellowship room this month. Thursday, May 8, 9:30-11:00 a.m., POLOs Meeting Calling Parents of Little Ones! Meetings are on second and fourth Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the nursery. See Tracy S. for more information: (pcvhonduras@yahoo).
