Week 3 - 30/30/60 Challenge. Well done to all of you who handed in food diaries last week, keepem coming they keep you accountable! This week is all about WATER!!! Truths about water and weight loss; - The body will not function properly without enough water and cant metabolize stored fat efficiently - Retained water shows up as excess weight - To get rid of excess water you must drink more water When the body gets the water it needs to function optimally, its fluids are perfectly balanced. HOW MUCH WATER? Atleast 2 litres EVERYDAY! Increase this by 500ml if working out or on hot/dry weather. If water intake is something you struggle with try breaking it down like this; Breakfast - 2 glasses Snack - 1 glass Lunch - 2 glasses Snack - 1 glass Dinner - 2 glasses Remember herbal teas count too! Have a fantastic week everyone!
