Weekend Watch! Facebook Friends, please look for announcements about a new project, the “And then, I: Monuments to Pivotal Moments” sculpture tour in Arkansas: individual sculptures that combine to create group portraits of turning points in women’s lives. The web blog (andtheni), Facebook page, and Kickstarter video will upload on August 15 to give background, images, and a way to participate in the project. It is supported in part by an award from the Mid-America Arts Alliance, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Arkansas Arts council, and foundations, corporations and individuals throughout Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas. My purpose is to connect everyday life experience with art, and to work with viewers to create a final exhibit scheduled for June 2015 in Little Rock!
