Juergen Stock of Germany on 17 June 2014 was selected as the candidate of INTERPOL’s Executive Committee to be next Secretary General of the world’s largest international police organisation, INTERPOLM Shashidhar Reddy, the Vice Chairman of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on 17 June 2014 resigned from his post. He sent his resignation to Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, who is also the chairman of NDMA. 8. India-born Pratishtha Khanna was honoured with Champions of Change by the White House on 17 June 2014.
