Weigh-in Wednesday Last week: 211 lbs. This week: 209 lbs. After gaining five-plus pounds since I graduated I reverted to the Phase I (weight reduction) protocol of the Ideal Protein (tm) program at about 80% this week. Full compliance would probably have resulted in three or four pounds lost; Ill settle for two. Its becoming increasingly apparent to me that eating the foods I lust for in the quantities I want does not lead to a satisfied feeling. I find myself wanting more in an inappropriately short time. In that sense its much like quitting smoking. I knew that the urge would pass, given time, and it would return even if I smoked. Ive been at this for 14 months now, and its still a mind game. Fascinating.
