Welcome to KARNATAKA SAHITYA MANDIRA (KSM), Hyderabad. KSM is a 79+ years old non-profit, service- oriented literary & cultural organisation. Established in the year 1936 in erstwhile Hyderabad State, KSM organises Literary Seminars & Symposia, cultural programs like Classical & Light Music, Gazals & Mushairas, Dramas and Dances of various cultures. It is proposed to celebrate KSM 80th Jubilee year-long celebrations ... from Ugadi 2015 to Ugadi 2016, with one program every month and atleast 12 programs in 12 months, in our KSM auditorium. During this year, we also propose another 5 programs, one each at Ravindra Bharathi, Bharatiya VidyaBhavan, Tyagaraja GanaSabha, Sunderayya Hall n Dr GS Melkote Park. In addition to above 12+5 = 17 programs...4 more programs / activities, one each at Ramanthapur, Malkajgiri, Kondapur (Hitec city) and Alkapuri / VanasthaLipuram. There will be 7 literary based, 7 Dramas and 7 Music n Dance based programs. In all, 21 programs / activities, during year-long celebrations. KSM80 Jubilee Celebrations will have a befitting Design n Caption (in Kannada n English) which will be used in all promos n publications during KSM80 Jubilee Celebrations. Artists, Graphic / Interactive Designers n KSM lovers are invited to send their entries. Online Design n Caption for KSM 80th Year Celebrations - 2015-16 I. Registrations: Participant must email us the following: 1. Design & caption 2. Brief note about his concept for design n caption. 3. Name, phone number and complete postal address. II. Eligibility: Open for all. III. More importantly, 1. Theme: Design n Caption for KSM 80th Year Celebrations - 2015-16 2. It is necessary that Design n Caption must be original, self-created n without any copyright n trademark problems. Artists/ participants should give an undertaking to this effect. 3. Deadline : 26th January 2015, 9:00 pm . 4. One or more entries are allowed. 5. Designs must be emailed to sahityamandira@gmail and the shortlisted ones will appear on our page 6. The judges decision is final and binding.
