Welcome to all our new Birkbeck students! Get Together - Welcome Reception 2014 - 6-10pm, Monday 22 Sept - ow.ly/BBeX1 All new students are invited to attend the Welcome Reception, to give you an introduction to Birkbeck and to meet other new students. Student services, the Students Union, current students and student support advisors will be on hand to answer any questions you have about joining us and provide you with useful information. The evening will start with an introduction from the Pro Vice Master for Strategic Engagement and Recruitment, and Director of External Relations, Tricia King, followed by refreshments and the opportunity to speak with stall holders at the mini-information fair. The evening will then close with entertainment hosted by the Students Union, and giving you the opportunity to meet other new students in an informal environment. Students can drop-in throughout the event, you can attend all or part of the evening. Please note this event is open to all students, Home, EU and International. The other events throughout the week were so popular that they have sold out however there are still places available for: Wednesday 24 Sept - Walking Tour of Bloomsbury - ow.ly/BBfb8 Thursday 25 Sept - the Birkbeck Students Union Freshers Fayre is in The Gallery at Student Central, Malet Street (near the corner of Byng Place) between 4.30pm-8pm. No booking required - please come along, everyone is welcome!
