Welcome to our new weekly post – SCIENCE AT HOME. Every week we’ll bring you a science activity you can do at home with everyday objects. This week we’re Making Snow Instantly! Winter has arrived, but Wollongong doesn’t often see snow, so we decided to make our own. Technically it’s not really snow, but it feels powdery and light and you can build it into snowballs just like the real stuff. When you’re finished creating, add some vinegar for an impressive chemical reaction. This gets messy so we recommend doing it outside. Click our photos for step by step instructions.
