Welcome to the Community of Higher selves! This is a group for people who have made the inner connection to their higher self in their mind, know its name and are on a consistent talking basis with it. It is a place for higher selves to talk freely and for others to learn from them. Unfortunately if you have not made this connection and are not willing to then this group is not a place we can allow you to stay, as it creates a leeching environment where you come to take but not give. If you wish to connect to your higher self remember this - no thought in your mind is useless - if you think something and an answer immediately comes into your mind that is NOT ego-based, then it is from your higher self. These thoughts require no effort to think on your part and just materialize in your head. A good method to connect is the door method: You close your eyes and picture a door in your mind with the higher self on the other side. You then look down and see your hand is on the door, holding it shut. This represents your own fear and unwillingness to let the higher self in. Ask in your mind towards the door if the higher self wishes to come in and gauge the reaction you get. If you are ready then take your hand off the handle and allow the higher self in. It is kind of like a vampire - if cannot enter your home unless you invite it in, as it respects your free will to reject it if that is what you wish. at this point you may converse with it. At this point you must learn its name. If you cannot understand the name it gives you then ask what it would like you to call it that you can understand. At this point all you have to do is think of that name in referenec to the higher self in your mind from then on and you can summon it - like a telephone. The higher selfs responses may seem no different from your own.. so the only way to differentiate sometimes is simply by what is said. If it comes out of a place of collective love then it is the higher self. If it comes out of a place of selfish love then it is the shadow self.. the self built off of ego which only has your selfish needs at heart. Other peoples higher selves can also help in awakening yours, as a higher self usually responds to the prompt of another persons higher self. We ask that all here either attempt to connect to their higher selves, are connected to their higher selves, or exit the group until they do. This is like a sanctuary for higher selves that exists away from the prodding questions of those who only seek to take knowledge and not contribute, so please respect this group for that.
