Well 5 years ago today my husband Daniel Hoover and I were just 4 months married and enjoying our time as newly weds! And in a matter of a minute our lives were changed forever! My husband was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor and with in 11 days had surgery for removal and began the life process of chemo, radiation and our new life as it would be! Our family was turned upside down this most amazing husband/father was given 18 months to live! So the work began! Live like he was dying! Make every memory possible for our family and hope and pray that we get another day! Well with that being said here we are! 5 years later! ALIVE!! WELL!! HAPPIER then ever!! So take that cancer!! We have now had 5 blessed years of memories!!.... He got to see our daughter Sierra Merrick go to her prom, graduate from high school, and in her second year of college and growing into an amazing women that we are so very proud of!! Our son Danny Hoover begin junior high, began his life with lacrosse and xcountry, move into high school, and growing into an amazing young man that we are so very proud of!!! Our daughter Hannah Elaine Merrick begin junior high school, trying to get involved with volleyball anyway she can (keeping fingers crossed knee holds up), move into high school and growing into and amazing young lady we are so very proud of!! He has been blessed with 3 beautiful puppers that he loves so very much and give him the best company everyday!! and they adore him!!! They are truly mans best friends!! With all the bad that could come from this journey we are so blessed and so thankful for every moment of everyday!! For every person in our lives then and now!!! So please dont take one moment for granted, and always remember everything happens for a reason!!! ❤️there are so many I could thank for the past 5 years but a very special thank you to my parents Steven Flint and Sharon Flint for being by our side and helping us whenever needed! Our most precious children Sierra Merrick, Danny Hoover and Hannah Merrick they have been through the most awful experience and hold their heads high, wipe their tears dry, and carry on still to this day when dad has his days!! These are the ones that deserve the best life can offer them! These people in our lives have made the ultimate sacrifices helping Dan still to this day!! So I thank you and love you all from the bottom of my heart!! And Dan I am so looking forward to the next 5 years!! I love you with every ounce of my being!! ❤️
