Well Folks five Sundays .Sunday mornings are still very raw with me but i am beginning to feel that Dolores is giving me some help so maybe with time i will start remembering the good times we had atm thats not working.Also my darling niece Sophie is settled in Plymouth University and i have to be honest i am heartbroken.I minded Sophie as a child and i have so many memories of all we did together.We watched Barney and sang I Love You we watched mother goose . We jumped over candle sticks singing Jack be nimble to name a few.I styled her hair different every day bought her her first pair of wee kicker boots and she was only 3yrs old bought her a bird raincoat which she hated with a passion.One day we were going down town and i put the little raincoat on well dear God she went into fits lay down on the kitchen floor screaming and kicking.Ijust went on out and as i was getting into the car there was wee Sophie with her wee arms up for me to lift her into the car.All was Grand as we were walking down Ogle Street and we met the late Peggy Harney who told her her coat was lovely well she screamed that loud everyone passing thought i was hitting her looking bak thats wat i should have done.It took Catherine Mooney ages to get her to smile that was some morning.One night she was sleeping in my house and Anthony being a gentleman let her into our bed and he went into the we spare room.After a good nights craic weall wnt to bed and we were all sleeping cosy when i felt all this wet coming over me.It was the madam Sophie being sick all ove me and my bed.Of course i took her washed her hugged her and wat did she doshe went straight into Anthonys wee bed cuddled in and left me stinking and the whole bed to sort out.Ipeeped in and there her and Anthony lovely and cosy and me shivering and had to shower wat memories ihave of Sophie Murray.Another day her mum had her in her little seat in the back of the car and she met Noreen Hamilton now Noreen Evans well they had a wee chat and then Noreen looked at Sophie and wat do you think Sophie did at Noreen.She casted her eyes well the doing Dolores gave me for teaching her daughter to do that but we all took it as a laugh mind you the same madam can still give you a look that you are wondering wat is she thinking Sophie was gifted with the most beautiful singing and i recall a time when she had to learn a song at school and Dolores asked me would i help her .Well we went for Fields Of Gold and dear God It would take a tear from a stoneto hear her sing .Anthony was emotional in the living room listening to her .We often wondered did she ever sing it at school as we never got the answer to that maybe she will tell us now.Avery talented tin whistle and flute player when i would visit Dolores rip the music coming from upstairs was a pleasure to listen to her mum and i listened often that she knows nothing about .I really hope she keeps playing her music over in Plymouth.it is a great gift to have.But i think our wee chats telling me about her tennis keeping me up to date with Lady Gaga going through pages of fashionand the love and respect she had for her mum was overwhelming.If Dolores was arriving 9 times out of 10 Sophie was coming behind her and they always had a story to tell about wat happened them on a tennis tripYes they really had great times together so our wee Sophie has very special memories.She made a wonderful pot of tea and always made me a lovely cup of coffee for me i will miss her terribly cause for 19yrs she has been in my life laughing crying and generally having the craic.I wish you wellSophie and have started to count the days for your return to your home city.I shall be a little richer as u will not be eating all my goodies going through my cupboards and poking out all you like Josh will have extra now and by the way your brother Josh says to stay in Plymouth the home is lovely and peacefull without you xxx Being serious Sophie Ilove you if youever need me dont hesitate to contact me .Anthony and i wish you well work hard Remember you are from iRELAND AND YOU ARE A VERY SPECIAL YOUNG LADY GOD BLESS YOU MY WEE SOPHIE XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
