Well, I am safely in the museum now, open for business and ready to be a colorful local character for the visitors. I spent several hours at the church this morning removing the eyes or any brown spots from the peeled potatoes and then halving them for the lutefisk dinner. Somebody forgot to tell them that I am not allowed to handle sharp objects but fortunately I remembered not to run while carrying a paring knife so I made it through in one piece. Here at the museum all the sharp objects are inside display cases. You can come in and look at them (and me) until 4:00.
