Well I blew it. I have been passing up deer in my spot and hunting this 1 particular buck. Had him at 42 yards 2 weeks ago but never felt comfortable with the shot even though I practice well passed that. This morning at 8:45am he appeared again. Came to 31 yards quartering to me and I released the arrow. Waited 30 minutes before climbing down. Within 20 yards the blood was pouring. 200 yards later blood started slowing. I watched the arrow disappear above and in front of the closest shoulder. Complete pass through and white hair in the broad head. I should have waited for a broadside shot even though I have killed many deer with that same shot. All I can say is I am just sick. I hate to lose any animal much less a possible P&Y. Its all on me. Not the bow, the arrow, or the broad head
