Well, I commented on this post and they didnt like it. Sooo. Ill post it... Its time for the parents to BUCK UP and pay for there kids education... My father did it... I went to LaSalle institute in Troy N.Y. From 7th to 12th grade. He made some sacrifices to send me there.... We didnt t get free lunches...our books were expensive. And our uniforms were expensive as well... We took city buses... Paid with tokens at our cost that we had to buy... And Im sure my father had to pay school taxes as well.... As for the teachers who were let go.... Well its the trimming of the fat.... Im sure your still graduating the same amount of students each year with out them. To freeeekinnnn bad.... So they were wasting that money all those prior years on those teachers let go. .. Poor financial management..The free ride is over... Stop riding on all the hard work from our parents and grandparents who built this great nation. I know budget cuts better then the rest... Your reducing my retirement check because the govt says they cant afford to pay us Military retirees. The free ride is over.... Hope those teachers can flip burgers.... Half of them were probably teaching ADVANCED BASKET WEAVING OR UNDER WATER POTTERY... What ever..... I got an ideal.... Get off your asses and earn what you want... Instead of waiting for good old Uncle Sam to give it to you on a silver platter... Retired United States Navy
