Well I finally made the police log today. Took my two dogs for a walk in the woods, got completely lost and hiked until I heard cars on a road in the distance. Thru swamp and grass taller than I am, over a brooks up to my thighs that one dog had to swim across (I had to carry the little one for most of the trek) until I got close to a street. I started calling for help because I was so exhausted I couldnt walk any further and two DOT workers, who were stopped on the road, found me and helped me get to the road. They gave us water and reported it the police. One motorcycle officer, two patrol cars and an ambulance later I was as mortified as I could get (I thought) then Joe came to pick me up (in his pajamas). I am home now exhausted, nursing by banged up knees and shins. Someone was watching over me today. Thank you guardian angel. Both dogs are fine just exhausted.
