Well I had a close call today, and this time it wasnt from seeing my life flash before my eyes on the highway haha! Our cat went missing this past summer and we hunted high and low for her but without any luck. This morning, I was leaving my driveway and noticed a dark colored cat with no tail prowling around the neighbors yard. Right away, because of the similar colorings, I thought it was our cat!! (perhaps a dog or something had removed her tail?) Shut the truck off, walked towards the cat, called to it with all the same words and sounds I used to use with our cat and it cautiously came up to me. I was really excited at first......... but it turned out to be a male instead. He has near identical markings but has a couple extra toes and the white is a bit different on his feet and chest. He was really friendly, had no collar and wandered off on his way. I havent seen any missing cat postings with any fitting his description (except mine of course).... but just in case, I managed to take a few pics. He wouldnt hold still so it wasnt easy to get a good shot lol. Two more pics in comments.
