Well I had injections in my L-1 and L-4 yesterday and I now understand the ole saying hit a nerve!!It felt like someone hooked up battery cables to my gonads and felt like I was being electrocuted!! BUT, Im happy to say that after decades of chronic back pain, spasms, etc, and with a limited amount of residual pain from the shots which are suppose to subside in a couple days, I feel GREAT! Im starting to get feeling back in my feet and toes! Im standing up straight and dont feel the need to lean on ANYTHING!!! Ive heard that most feel relief but it only lasts for 3 to 4 months... Ill take it!! One day without lower back pain is a day not feeling like blowing my brains out!! Thank you President Obama! Without Obamacare, I would have had to live with my constant chronic pain and discomfort! Also, if anyone has the need to find a orthopedic surgeon for their knees, back, whatever.... DESERT ORTHOPEDICS in Bend is probably the BEST place I have ever been!! Dr. Finter is the best at what she does in my book and I look forward to her replacing my left knee on the 12th!! Its the first time in decades, and through the many, many orthopedic surgeons who have worked on me and have given up, that I feel confident that my doc is going to re-build my knee and take care of my issues!! She and her PA are by far the most professional and compassionate in their field!! Im looking forward to getting back on my feet again and back in the game!! Today I am grateful!
