Well I have tried and tried to post this for a few days now... I have a whole new definition of a Roller Coaster! Mom had 2 days worth of appointments/Tests Wednesday and Thursday with Cancer Doctors in OKC. After appointment they tell her they will call when Radiologist reads CT Scan, that she should just go home... Not once, not twice but THREE times they ask are you sure we shouldnt stay to get results. Oh no maam go home we will call you. Yep she gets to JAY city limits and they call alright, with you have a Cardiovascular Aneurism and need to get back to OKC OU Medical at ONCE. Back to OKC we go, get to ER and they get us in a room which we wait and wait, for Cardio. Finally Cardio says the Aneurism is 6-7 cm (large) but arent concerned of size just that the lining of wall is very thin. OU says we haft to send you to Baptist Hospital cause they have a whole team that would need to evaluate and give their opinion. Then as of 12:00 pm on Friday, OU has consulted with Baptist and tells us she isnt a candidate for anything to repair the aneurism due to the lung cancer. And we just need to go home and leave it to god, it could rupture when we walk out or in 5 yrs.. 1:30 pm Friday we get a call saying, we are not discharging.. Her lung CANCER is in REMISSION, so she is a Candidate to repair aneurism.. So we are still in ER observation room (aka.. Holding pin) at OU due the fact there is no bed at Baptist Hospital. Hoping we hear something soon from Baptist. Mom is in real good spirits.. Please Continue the prayers! We have been blessed by so many visitors, calls and texts. Despite the worst cell service in the world. I cant begin to tell you how thankful I am that god put so many of the most amazing people in my life.. Missed My Mattie Haynes SWAT speech in the Jay Bulldog Press box last night, but got some real special people that seen to it this momma got to hear it!
