Well, I heard from the kiddies tonight. Gene briefly E-mailed me Sunday night that they were alive and well and got safely to Haiti! Their connecting flight Saturday in Fla. was 2 hrs late so they had no time to call. American airlines had to hold the plane B/C there were so many people heading to Haiti. They are all doing well and enjoying the last 4 days. Food is good and surprisingly, Dean actually likes it. Valarie told me the sweetest thing about Dean. She said last night they were served chicken and Dean actually got all the meat off the bones and went over and fed the stray dogs.(child after my own heart).(tried the alt #3 key Lynn...still cdnt get the picture) They took all our snorkel sets to give away and on Sunday(day of rest in Haiti, NOT in USA) they went to the beach with the Haitian children and they taught them how to snorkel (first time most of those kids ever saw fish). O They were short on time to talk. Thanks everyone for your support. You know as a parent, sometimes you never know if you are doing the right thing!
