Well I made it out to zero my new scope. I zeroed it at 100 yards with 145gr. Military Surplus NATO M80 FMJ ball ammo. M80 ball is far from being good match grade ammo but still does the job. Once zeroed, I pushed the 12 round 10 ring target out to 375 meters (give or take). At that distance I could barely see the target with my naked eye. Even with the non match grade standard military ball ammo I was still able to get 1.5 - 2 inch 2 and 3 shot groups with a few stray rounds of 2.75 - 3 spreads here and there (my fault on the trigger, haha!). I was laying on an upward dirt hill with the rifle supported on a downed tree. The scope performed flawlessly (better than the ammo...ha!). Its a keeper for $250 being that a Leopold with less magnification is priced at $1200! Im happy with it to say the least! I will have no issues taking the heart out of a deer with it. Ill push it later on to 1000 meters but Im not sure if that ammo will be accurate enough for that distance. Good times.
