Well I missed out on a huge deal from New Orleans craigslist, it was posted after I had checked and went fast. But, I am trading one doll for one with brown eyes and freckles that I will change the hair to match Shae on. Then in one of the groups today, a lady posted a Rebecca, the one Shae has been asking for that looks a little like her. The lady posted it because her husband was in a car accident last night, he is fine, but she needs to sell to make the money back to fix the car. After so many helped us last year, we have been doing what we can where we can to help others, so I am buying her too. I will probably put her away for another occasion but Shae will have her. I said it last year, but I want to say it again. Thank you to Santa to our friends, and to our church who all helped us last year when we were having hard times. So many jumped at the chance to help with my knee surgery, sending us food, money, and prayers. Without our secret Santa and gifts from a church memebr, last Christmas would have been sad. I hope we have paid it forward this year and that we can contiue to every year. Even the little things like buying something from someone that needs the money, handing out little dollar items to kids walking by with their Dad in a parking lot because your kids have plenty, or buying the 1 item a man in front of you in line is buying because his wife had him run to the store for it. Or the big ones when you can; playing Santa for a friend and his family because he lost his job, taking an angel from the Christmas Angel Tree and fullfilling a childs wishes for Christmas. Christmas is a time for giving, for thinking of others, and for appreciating what you have in this life. I hope we have spread a little Christmas cheer this year.
