Well, I went outside yesterday to ride my little scooter to work, and damned if the proofs of the book werent in and sitting on the scooter seat. Youd think theyd honk or something. So I rushed back into the house, cut the box open, and lo and behold...it was the proof copies of the book. Copy number one out of the box went straight to Darlene, because momma gets the first one. Not even negotiable. I wanted to make some personal zombie type gift bags for Tracy Lambert, Traci Darnell and Ben Heuer, but was too excited to have the proofs and didnt have enough time, so they just got the books. I hurried to work on my little scooter just as fast as I could, and gave Tracy hers, which got me a hug, then sat Traci Darnells on her desk, and gave Ben Heuer his copy as well. I texted Traci Darnell guess what I got in? and she hurried back and got it, and I signed hers with my feelings about her helping with the book. I signed Bens next, and Tracy Lamberts last. DustinNjoni Runyan was reading through it while we were between calls, and he liked what he saw. Darlene has been up all night reading it. That is a major accomplishment. The reason I say that is shes a picky reader, and if you get her past ten pages, youve done something. Shes got four chapters to go and its fun seeing her smile and laugh at certain parts. I am really happy with how it is being received by her, and think that the others that order a copy will also enjoy it based on her and what the betas have said. I will be taking pre-orders from facebook friends and family starting tonight, and if you want one, they are $13.00 each, and just PM me with how many you want. I will then order the books and provide you my address and you can provide yours so I can sign the books and mail them to you. Everyone have a zombie free day!!! Life is good.
