Well, Larry took Tory in to see the vet again this morning (he let me sleep since I was up til 5:30am without sleep).....now it seems Tory has/had either a yeast infection in his ear or some sort of virus. The tech spent 10 minutes digging out gunk from both ears, then applied an ointment (which I now have to administer twice a day for 7-10 days OMG). His ears look sore and when I got up and gave him his insulin he was like would you all please just leave me the hell alone??.....this poor cat has been through a lot lately and I feel so bad for him. But thankful and grateful that they were able to do what they did for him today. I will give him this damn ointment along with the insulin because I AM THE MOMMY. LOL This is my job. This is part of what I signed up for when I adopted these two furballs. I love them. I will do it, of course, without question. I just feel so bad for Tory to have to endure so much in such a short period of time. Hes been to the vet 4 times in the past few weeks and every time he just cries and howls. I still have to take him in at the end of next week for another glucose check. :( He is resting now and we will tread gently today and leave him to rest. My sweet old 10 year old good boy.
