Well, THAT was a waste of time. Last week, when I was filling out the application for the job I interviewed for today, I completed a skills assessment, and I did really well on it, because the job is very similar to other jobs Ive had, and to the two jobs I have now, so, obviously, I have the skills, so todays interview was basically about what hours I would be able to work. So I told him about my Paralegal A.S. classes, and that my brain doesnt allow me to work overnights, so, dont even ask, and then he asked how many hours I wanted to work. As a formality, I asked what the starting wage was, assuming that it would be around the same wage as other very similar jobs at other extremely profitable companies. He said, $7.50 an hour. As I was getting up from my chair, I said, Im going to have to cut this short. As the door was closing behind me, I said, Thank you.
