Well after 11 months of planning and designing, redesigning, building, and rebuilding. Hauling, hauling back, cleaning, painting, and countless other undisclosed things ;) Misery Haunted House is opening tonight at 6:30pm! But before it does, there are a few people I need to thank. First of all, I guess I need to thank all my friends on facebook who haven’t un-friended me due to my countless shameless plugs of *cough* Misery Haunted House, 1000 W. Main Street Little Chute! :D I would like to thank, Stephanie, Gary, Joyce, and Haven of Hope Day Care Inc., for their trust and support in letting me take hold and run with this huge undertaking. All the bumps on the way, with space issues and moving or taking down stuff. You guys have so much going on in your side of the building, I always feel bad asking for something on my side. Through it all, I hope when this is done we can look back and know it was all worth it, and make it even bigger next year! Calypso for your help with ideas, and designing the original floor plan, even though everything pretty much changed, and supporting me as well. Also all the long days of moving and sorting stuff to get stored. Iret, every little bit helps, your support what little time you could give made an impact, painting or holding walls all wouldn’t have gotten done without you there when you were! Kevin, Thank you for your support, and taking on huge projects that no one else would and making them your own. Even on projects you were not involved in you lend your advice or a hand. Also a huge thanks for the use of your tools, on days when we had extra help it was so much easier not having to share one drill or saw. Joshua, since day one of Misery you followed me, which means a lot to me having your respect. Last year I looked up to you for your leadership and followed you without question and I thank you for doing the same with me. Your trust, friendship and support has without a doubt kept Misery going. Without you we would not have been able to attain the supplies we have needed to complete this project. My Mom, who with out question has been one of the biggest supporters and helpers of Misery, with just a phone call would drive back and forth to haul useless curb trash from all over Appleton to the haunt at a moments notice. Spent time outside of the haunt placing ads on community billboards and calling countless places advertising, gaining donations, and searching for volunteers. Of everyone you have spent almost as much time here as I have and put in just as much work. Without you there prolly wouldn’t be a Misery Haunted House. Thank You!
