Well, after a somewhat poopy week at times, I got good news this morning. I got an offer to move to Vancouver to fill a Senior Technical Animator position with the Moving Picture Company this morning, who has recently done major work on Godzilla (zOMG, with the possibility that theyll get to do the second one), Prometheus, Superman Returns, Maleficent, and they have a lot of really cool projects coming up. It would be a great opportunity for me to get out of LA and up to Vancouver, since theres just about no character work for movies in town any more, and I really like the style of aliens and monsters VFX work that theyve been able to get for themselves. And obviously, Im pretty stoked anytime I get considered for a senior role. I havent completely made up my mind, and we need to talk it over a bit, but Im thinking that there may be a strong likelihood that I end up going to Canadia at the end of August. :) https://vimeo/80989764
