Well...after several hours at the urgent care, shoulder X-rays, a sling and two prescriptions for pain and muscle relaxants, we are home with no real answers as to why my shoulder has basically stopped working. Im to call tomorrow for a referral to an orthopedist. The X-rays are abnormal and the X-ray tech said I must have a high pain threshold. Dr. said it could be bone spurs or calcification arthritis or something else! But the X-rays are definitely abnormal. Im hoping for bursitis and an that injection of cortisone will set things to rights.
