Well, after some hard thinking last night and this morning, Im gonna postpone the tournament til the spring. Couple reasons Ive made this decision - 1. Trying to balance our time between work and being with our friend/family during this difficult time, it is very difficult to concentrate and focus on the things still needing done for the tournament. 2. Weve lost some players. 3. The weather forecast is calling for several inches of rain this week, and the Saturday forecast is chilly temps and either rain or cloudy and dreary. (Looked at a dozen forecasts and half day rain Saturday). So with the tourney called off, heres what weve decided. The businesses who have donated meat and stuff are still ok with donating, So, this Saturday from 9-2, we will be having a benefit BBQ at the Farmers Market on Main St. in Park Hills in an effort to raise some money to help Crystal and Mark during this difficult time. Im sure we can get a basket or two of misc goodies to raffle off too if we can get a little help. Im sure this will have a good turnout regardless of the weather because when you come from a small town, everyone is willing to help. I really hope the whole town will stop by and support her.
