Well everyone this will be my last post until after the election tomorrow night. If you wake up on Sunday and this page is still here then you will know I have been re-elected as your Mayor and I am very optimistic about that, but you all know the drill, it’s not over till....” I have given my heart and soul to this position and I seek you support tomorrow to continue. I have the time the energy and the experience to do the job. On every issue I have spoke out for Greenwood and all of your concerns..we have accomplished a lot and there is still much to do and I am up to the challenges. I would just like to share with you this piece of information with you tonight. Starting very soon you will be able to do your “Driver Services” at our city office. The equipment is going to be installed soon that will let you renew your driver’s license (including photo” at city hall. This is a big upgrade for the city and enables us to offer you a full complement of insurance through ICBC and Drivers License renewal all in one place. Last year the city received $48,000.00 in commission from the sale of ICBC insurance and that pays the wages for one full time employee at city hall...just saying!! Don’t forget to vote tomorrow whomever you support. Everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all of the happiness and growth occurs while youre climbing it!
