Well finished the laundry and brought it up, took down the roaster and put away. Did I tell you how much i hate climbing steps. LOL! Had some stuff to take to the garage for Kathy. And got that down. So off to the barn. Pretty dim in there and Kathy is scared to walk around much there. Worried about snakes and spiders she cant see. So figured Id run some electrical wires and install some lights. Ended up putting up two 4 ft fluorescent , 3 -60 watt bulbs, and wiring three new outlets And a new connection box. So electric is done. And lots of light at night. Then started on the chicken pen about 48 high 20 foot long and 12 foot wide. 240 sq. ft. Will be a lot of room for 100 chicks. I see commercial growers are required .6 sq. ft. Seems cruel to me. At that rate I could have 400 in that pen. So instead of the .6 sq. ft. requirement we got 2.4 sq. ft. Will be cleaner and better. Got about 1/2 the frame work up. Instead of 2 x 4s were using 3 x 4 landscape timbers. Its so strong i could raise goats, pigs and maybe even a calf in there. LOL!. Figured on fastening it down to the concrete with anchors. But its so heavy two people cant lift it. LOL! Then Plowed up a lot of yard for animal garden. Too Wet to till so the plowing will make it dry quicker. Hope to use it to produce some of my own feed. Well got to go check on supper. But after i do dishes im done for the night. Im Pooped! LOL!
