Well guys, it happened. Ive been a movie expert all my life. To put it simply, I believed myself to be a master of movies. Never did I expect for a movie to master me. Tonight, at 5:45 PM on Sunday November 16th, the impossible happened. Interstellar literally rocked the core and broke foundations of how I had perceived a movie could affect a person. Congratulations, Christopher Nolan. My favorite movie of all time is now headlined by Matthew Mcconaughey of all people. For the first time in my life I could dislike Matt Damon. My world is crumbling. Im still shaking. Will I recover? Perhaps. Will I be able to wash away the emotions that still consume me? Probably not. Will any movie, film, or life experience be able to measure up to this? Never.
