Well hello everyone, I havent had access to the internet for some time but am home for the night and wanted to send out an update on mothers recovery; she is doing well but it has proven to be a slow up hill climb. Just yesterday she was able to get up and get herself to the bathroom and back completely on her own. She is still very weak and tires out very quickly; when she first came home from the hospital she had 3 really good days followed by 3 bad days but has taken it really easy since then and has shown continued improvement the last few days . She saw the Dr Tues and he was pleased with her continued recovery, she actually let us get a wheelchair from the Drs office to take her up from the car! The Dr. reminded her again how sick she was and that she still had 4 - 6 more weeks of recovery. He also ordered Home Health Care to send a Nurse out a couple of times a week and to have a Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Evaluations which have already given us some great tips. Also, we got the results of the blood tests the Dr. did Tuesday today and the infection in her blood appears to be cleared up...once again, Hallelujah and Amen!!! I have been staying over there with her, I just cant express how thankful I am to be here to take care of her
