Well here is a recent story that was shared with me just yesterday. A few of us volunteers still go together to go out and feed the homeless. One of our new volunteers was this women and sorry for the life of me I cannot remember her name. Well while we were all out passing out the lunches she got to talking about her sobriety and how she came to finally getting clean. We asked her how she learned of The Living Center in the first place and she stated that her good friend that she knew from back in the day told her about it. She stated that when she seen that he was clean and doing good that she right then knew that she could do it herself as well. She is now over a year clean and stated that Powder that is what she called him was a life saver for her. She had not heard that Skip had passed away and myself and another friend had to inform her that he had passed earlier this month. She stated that he will forever be in her heart. This here was a Big Big pull to my heart that still to this day we have people talking about Skip and how much he meant to them and their lives and sobriety. Skip Brock will always be a active part of Casa Grande and well the state towards us all doing what we do and helping all of those that are still afflicted with what ever ales them. Love You Skip and please keep sending them Worriers Out to help the rest of us.
