Well, here it is almost two in the morning and no sleep in sight. My back pain is giving me fits and will not allow my mind to shut down. Pain medication is not working tonight so I came on here to maybe vent a little frustration. I know it will not ease my back pain but will help with the frustration. Writing will sometimes give me some relief. Just putting my mind on something else puts the pain in a different part of my mind therefore, I will write about something else for obvious reasons. I am an American and very proud of it. I believe the founders of our great nation knew exactly what they meant when they wrote our constitution. If the Supreme Court really wanted to know the intention of the amendments they need only to read their writings about said subject. There was no intention to take church or religion out of government but they intended to keep the government out of religion. They wanted us to be able worship in the manner we wanted and not just in the manner dictated by our courts. I believe that every law abiding citizen should be allowed to own as many guns as they desire. We are talking law abiding citizens not criminals. In all unbiased studies done on the subject the more law abiding citizens there are the less crime. The supposed studies that say taking guns away lowers crime are doing what I call statistic analysis blindness. They only see what helps support their cause or point of view. Once again our forefathers intended for us to be armed in the extreme case of having to defend ourselves from our own government just as they had to. Guns do not kill people. People kill people. I believe that every one has the right to life. I also believe that a baby is a person at conception. I will agree there are a few instances where I understand the opposing point of view but do not support it. The argument that it is my body does not work for me. First, it is the babys body also. I have recently read that it is hypocritical to say it is ok to kill a baby because it is inconvienent for you but the charge a murderer with double murder when they kill a pregnant woman. One charge for the woman and one for the baby. Also, why does the father of the baby not get a voice in the matter. If he wants the baby and the woman doesnt he is just out of luck. If she wants to keep the baby and he doesnt well, too bad. She has decided to keep the baby and you now have to pay child support. Just some food for thought. Lastly, anyone who knows me knows I am not a racist. I am far from it. I believe we are all one shade of brown or another. Our family trees all go back to the same two people, Adam and Eve. I am tired though of certain people in the media trying to find a racial undertone to everything they report. Not every crime is a hate crime. The boogie man is not lurking around every corner. Please give it a rest. I will leave you with these two unrelated thoughts. I believe Obama should be impeached for the large growing list of lies and refusal to take responsibility for anything. And as Nipsy Russell used to say Pro is the opposite of con Or so thats the way it would seem But if progress means to move ahead Then what does congress mean?
