Well here we are, the end of 12 months hard work and the beginning of the next. The Furry Paws Co is 1 year old today. Congratulations Turtle, congratulations Gang and most of all congratulations to all of you here who have worked so hard to make this business what it is. Thank you to Peaches & Ibsen for coming up. Also, on Skype we have Iona from Scotland, and Fox, Midnight, Beautiful, Rabbit, Hugo, Brewster, Bubbles & Missy from HQ Australia, in Brisbane, all scrambling to get in the view of the camera. We are now having a shared lunch, which is pretty weird for the Aussies as its 10.30 at night there. Still, its more about a celebration than anything and us all being together. We have a huge pile of cards, letters, messages & emails to get through congratulating us. Well get them pinned up somewhere tomorrow. Oh oh, here come Battle Cat, Blossom & Tikken from Perth, and immediately on their toes, Misty, Chloe & Bubby from up Surfers Paradise. Now the last ones; from Sydney, Della, Angel & Noodle and from Melbourne Dove. Before we stop lauding and congratulating our wonderful workers with thanks for all they have done and move into our second year, I want us to take a moment to thank Lily in particular. She went through a particularly unpleasant time following her accident at the end of March. However she tells me that the experience showed her how many friends she has and I feel it showed us how we could pull together when something goes wrong and support each other. So while I really wish you never had to go through that, I am glad that good things came out of it. Well done Lily. Last and most important, we have to remember our colleague and friend Dylan, who we lost this year, and is much missed. We had a minutes silence for Dylan, I could see many a tear and Frank & Nipper holding paws. Its important to acknowledge this important day. It will be interesting to compare where we are this time next year but right now we want to look at where we were last year. Just the 7 of us in a shed in my humans garden - not that we werent grateful, with equipment knocked up by Turtle with bits from the scrapyard. Nor does any of that diminish what we were producing at that stage but it does show how far weve come. Congratulations to all of us, now get stuck in.............................................................................................
