Well i have had a very exciting week :) Our long established local haberdashery shop Chopes has sadly closed down :( but i was lucky enough to be able to buy up a lot of their closing stock :) I have Gutermann 100% cotton sewing thread - 100m reels - which normally retail at £1.70 for just £1.00 each Gutermann 100% cotton quilting thread - 200m reels - which previously sold at over £4 for £2.50 each I also have Gutermann shirring elastic at £1 per spool, and various other Gutermann threads. I also bought all the remaining buttons - lots of frilly trims, strung sequins, lots of ribbons, thonging, carded haberdashery, hundreds of iron-on appliques and all the dress net and a few bolts of fabrics. Of course my shop which was already stacked to the rafters is now absolutely fit to burst!!! Please come up the hill to Butchers Row and pay me a visit for all your sewing and haberdashery items you are no doubt already missing Chopes for. To my non local likers dont forget i also sell via mail order. Please feel free to share my post with your crafty friends :)
