Well i really had high hopes that the Stryker 497 would be a killer radio. The first one I bought had killer audio but had something wrong with the NB and the receive right out of the box and Stryker wanted it returned for warranty work. Well I got my money back on that one and bought another one and its over modulated and the receive sucks. It looks like my old Connex 3300HP just showed me why its my all time favorite radio. Has anyone else had a similar experience with the 497?
