Well in an hour Ill be heading down to ng2, first stop chipshop next to nct bus depot in meadows, then the walk over Trent bridge. Quick last ciggy outside Trent end before climbing the steps. Swift beer or 2 then to my trusty white seat on row F in t3. Then it will be time to blow the city ground roof clean off, the noise today should be electric, Pearce the prodigal son has return to his rightful place in the dug out, I for one am so bloody excited, two of my childhood heroes working together at the club i love. Never have i looked forward to the opening game of the season as much as today. Come 4.50pm I think Im gonna be unable to speak. The poor lady in front of me shes gonna go home deaf, I have 3 months of singing n shouting to let out today. Mull of kintyre needs to be sang loud and proud today people, I know Pearce wants to lose the psycho name but Im sorry not when he first steps out today, I want the whole ground to greet him how he was always greeted when he gave his famous arms above his head salute in front of the old Trent end.
