Well it just keeps getting better & better!! Woke up 5am Saturday morning with severe pain in the right side of my neck. This actually goes back to Tuesday while I was parking my van for my Drs appointment ( looked behind me while I was parallel parking and heard a loud SNAP!!! Didnt think too much of it at the time ( maybe I pulled a muscle.) But, NOOOOO!! Had Leslie take me to LMH. Attending had me get a CT scan and guess what?? I BROKE my C1 vertebrae!!! Im lucky to be alive let alone not paralyzed!! So after an ambulance ride to Tufts Medical ( sirens & the the whole 9 yards), and multiple MRIs and Xrays later, it was determined it was a clean break with no damage to the spinal cord, muscles, or ligaments. Leslie had picked up my Mom and called Adam LoRusso so we were all there at Tufts for 13 and 1/2 hours!!! So we all missed Kayla Marfil & J.D.s wedding, but luckily Adam took his laptop and we watch ceremony on live streaming video. So, that happy note aside, I have to wear a neck brace 24/7 for 4 weeks and then they will see how it is healing. If the brace doesnt work, surgery to put a plate & screws in to stabilize it is an option. Okay, I dont want to play this game any more!!!!
