Well, its almost time for bed here, Ill start with Saturday... Thanks to those who helped Jamie get his car out, as for myself it turned out that my suspicions were correct, put simply, youll be seeing a lot more LWB motors from myself! The Jag was sturdy, and I had a really enjoyable meeting (on track), probably would have done well if i ran a transponder! Then today, well, we got back to Jamies at about 12:15 this morning, I left for Chelmsford 6 hours later with a pair of ruined SWB shells and my used Mk10. So Mk10 it was. Got to the track to be told Im mad by about 6 different people, I cant say theyre wrong with that opinion though. Forgot my transponder in heat 1(which would prove to be costly), I went crashing, along with most others and probably came 5th/6th, but results showed me in 16th...doh. Heat 2 I managed 6th as there wasnt too much sat up for a crash and Heat 3 i went back to crashing into most things, mainly the wall, and ended up either 8th or 11th, cant remember. Which put me through to the B Final...about 3 points off A Final, which left me annoyed with myself so I rodded the B Final, and then missed the results from the race, so I still dont know how i did. DD was a hard affair, in the end one of my motor wires broke off, which left me bemused until I took the shell off. I rather enjoyed myself and handed in a CCORC membership form as I can see myself doing a few meetings there in 2015, and Id quite like something out of it, showing on the points sheets will do me fine for now, dont worry, Im not disowning/leaving UCOR! Time to munch some windows out of a few cars, got a fair stock pile now...
