Well, its been a pretty awesome week, starting with wondering who I knew in Adelaide that could connect me with the techs touring with The Rolling Stones, just so I could meet the guys working at the top of the game, and to chat about all things guitar/ drum/ stage related. From that little faded spark came a phonecall, that led to an opportunity I never dreamed Id have- repairing and rebuilding The Rolling Stones touring cases, being present while the biggest rock band in the world rehearsed, watching them do soundcheck at Adelaide Oval, and above all, getting to know the techs who keep the show running! A wonderful group of guys who were extremely warm and friendly, and are at the absolute top of the game when it comes to touring techs. They carry a big weight! And Tessy - you made it all happen! Youre the bomb!
