Well, its official! Due to the piss poor build quality of my MINI, it has been replaced. Of course I will miss all the fun Ive had with it. But I will not miss the random reduced power kickdowns in traffic with no code to show why or the large quantities of water in my car that cannot seem to be quelled by either of the two local MINI dealers. They both like to blame on a light piece of plastic, but it seems strange that the vapor barrier in the middle of the door would be the first line of defense to keep water out of the car. I had got worried because the water tended to head straight for the electronics bay under the passenger seat. On to a car that has quite a few less quirks and has been known to stand up to the rigors of North Dakota. Was so close to a diesel, but this one was a little bit better deal. Still get to play with Nicoles MINI though!
