Well my boys snuck around and grew up on me. They start first grade tomorrow and I feel like if I blink it will be time to practice driving and taking the test. Im happy they will be attending the very school I went to but kind of sad it is so different. They wont get the experiences I had and it bums me out. That is part of the problem with the world these days, I believe developments in society and mankind are not always steps forward and the generations are losing more of the good & right by the day and it is getting scary that you can be called unfit or get in trouble for doing right or raising your kids the right way. Oh well maybe Im an old soul in a new body but thats how I see it. The world isnt what it used to be but the memories cant be changed. Do any of my fellow Oak Grove students remember how cool we had it? The Nature Trail! The huge stick forts on our wooded play ground! A Lagoon right next to the basket ball court with those huge turtles and throwing balls over the fence in there at them! Kids just dont get that anymore.....
