Well, my latest edition of Wild West magazine came yesterday. Aint nothing better on a rainy afternoon, than reading about the history of the old west. I just finished a great article about mail order brides in the 1800s by my FB friend and exceptional writer and author Chris Enss, titled Getting Personal on the Frontier . It seems it was as big a business then as now. Only now its on the internet. Congratulations Chris. Yall should definitely read this article if ya get the chance and for all you re-enactors and authentic history buff types, you should definitely read her book How the West Was Worn. Another in depth study and great read.
