Well now they are saying 5 to 8 inches of snow Friday and more ice Sunday mornin. Sounds like its gonna get nasty whatever hits us. I dont mind the snow.....doesnt bother me to drive in it but I dont like ice at all. So wont be goin anywhere over the weekend. ;) One year I got cabin fever and decided to run over to the lil country store to hang out awhile. Took the truck, which isnt 4 wheel drive. Wasnt icy out, just alot of snow. Mushy on the roads. No big deal. Well I tend to talk alot to anybody and everybody and I didnt leave the store til the sun went down and that mush got slick. Theres two big hills right fore ya get to our house. I got stuck halfway up the first hill. Backed back down and got run for it. Got stuck again. By this time folks were linin up at the bottom of the hill waitin for me to get over it. lol A few local guys tried to help me but couldnt get it over the hill either. Im about to cry Im so stressed causin all those folks to have to wait and stuff. Thinkin Oh geesh my husband is gonna be so ticked off. About that time I hear someone yell from the bottom of the hill.......Get that piece of chit off the hill! Oh my word!!! I was my sister. I was never so glad to hear her voice in all my life. lolol Her and her husband were comin back from town. Came up the hill in their 4x4, hooked onto me and pulled me home. Was a thrill goin over the hills bein pulled by a chain for sure. lol At the bottom of the first hill theres a curve and a culvert that alot of folks have hit. Once we got past that I was fine. If I got out and its mushy I know get my butt back home fore the sun goes down. lolol *Granny*
