Well, one of our kittens got fixed today! When we arrived at the vets this morning we were informed that they prefer to wait to spay female kittens when they are 6 months old and since Roodi & Taeja are only 5 months old we decided to just get Roodi done and then take Taeja back in next month. Our vets reasoning behind this is it is healthier for female kittens to have that extra month to develop their growth hormones or something. So, Roodi is home now and acting a bit crazy because of the experience and the cone of shame but is otherwise fine. We are keeping him separated from the other cats for the moment as Thunder is really freaked out by the cone (we are guessing he doesnt recognize Roodi as Roodi) and Roodi is not helping matters any by chasing after Thunder and freaking him out even more. Cats I tells yah, nothin but sweet trouble! ;)
